Decoder awarded an RIAA Gold Record!
A sizable crate arrived unannounced at the studio last week, and when we cracked it open we couldn't believe it. Inside we found none other than a Gold Record from the Recording Industry Association of America, awarded to Christian for his art direction on Modest Mouse's latest album. The bands third Epic release, "We Were Dead..." has sold over half a million copies and isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
Between this and a UNC's NCAA mens basketball national championship earlier in the year, Christian is as giddy as a schoolgirl...
